Zeferino Entertainment inks Carina Moreno

CarinaMorenoAfter winning the WBA flyweight title in a huge upset over “Killer Queen” Susi Kentikian in Germany on December 1st, Carina Moreno (23-5, 6 KOs) has inked a multi-fight contract with Zeferino Entertainment. “I will have an immediate title defense with Susi Kentikian of Germany in February. But after I defend my belt in the flyweight division, I would like to challenge the various champions at 105 and 108 pounds. I feel like those are my strongest weights.” Moreno named 108lb champions Esmeralda Moreno, Jessica Chavez and Yesica Bopp and 105lb titleholder Anabel Ortiz as future targets.

 
 
 

CAMACHO JR. TO FACE BROOKLYN’S DMITRIY SALITA

camacho-defeats-campasIn memory of Hector Camacho Sr., Golden Boy Promotions has offered Hector “Machito” Camacho Jr. (55-5-29ko) a chance to face Brooklyn’s fan favorite Dmitriy Salita (35-1-18ko’s). This will take place on the undercard of the much anticipated matchup between Danny Garcia vs. Zab Judah at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn New York.

 

Camacho Jr’s Promoter Zef Ramirez states “I’m very excited for the opportunity Golden Boy promotions has given Jr. I feel this is the break we need for Jr., to see that he belongs amongst the greats of today. Jr., is training in his hometown of Puerto Rico and has the fire burning within him. He is looking to shine come February 9th; with a win this could move Jr., into contention to fight the top fighters.”

Zeferino Entertainment signs 2008 Olympian Luis Yanez

LuisYanezJoseph Herron – Many people claim that one man’s disposables are another man’s treasure. One hard working promotional group based in Texas believes they’ve just struck gold with a fighter that most promoters and management groups have deemed unruly.

Earlier this week, Zeferino Entertainment reported the singing of former 2008 American Olympian Luis “Latin Legend” Yanez to a long term, exclusive promotional contract.

Guy Taylor, matchmaker and operations manager of Z Entertainment, is genuinely excited about their diamond in the rough.

“We’re thrilled to be working with a special talent like Luis Yanez,” explains the Zeferino matchmaker. “This kid has the makings of a long reigning world champion and the potential to bring excitement back to the Flyweight division.”

Camacho Jr. on Fast Track and returning July 28th

After a solid performance last weekend in San Antonio resulting in a 1st round KO against late substitute John Davis Charles, Hector Camacho Jr., is back in the gym preparing for his next fight. He will face tough Mexican brawler Luis Grajeda (12-1-9KO’S) on Saturday July 28th in Palomar, Chihuahua, Mexico. With a win over Grajeda, Camacho Jr. is slated to continue his fight to the top. Camacho will fight the Gotti of the Rockies, WBC World Rated David “Strictly Business” Medina (23-2-11KO’s) in the Light Middleweight Division in late September
